Dignified spaces for female workers
Additionally, the installation of three more lactation rooms in other areas of the municipal government is planned, along with the placement of baby changing stations in City Hall restrooms, both in women’s and men’s facilities.
Another initiative being promoted is the creation of a Care Center (Casa de Cuidados), a project that will be developed in coordination with the Department of Social Development.
Assistance for women experiencing violence
Regarding prevention and response to violence, the director reported that halfway houses will be reactivated. These spaces provide support to women who must leave their homes to safeguard their safety along with their children.
Currently, the municipality has two Violence-Free Care Units (UALIVI): one located in Vista Hermosa, in San José del Cabo, and another in Cabo San Lucas, behind the municipal delegation office.
In addition, the Orange Line remains active, serving as a support and guidance hotline for women facing situations of violence.
Prevention in companies and schools
As part of preventive strategies, ongoing training is also provided in hotel companies and in public and private schools on workplace violence, harassment, and sexual harassment, since in many cases existing protocols are not properly implemented.

These actions are complemented by participation in the Purple Task Force (Mesa Violeta), in coordination with Public Security, bringing prevention and awareness activities directly to neighborhoods throughout the municipality.
