Conquista Agraria: Rural Production and Connectivity Gaps
The northern subdelegation of La Paz comprises three communities with a total of 600 inhabitants; they face isolation due to unpaved roads and limited connectivity.

Regarding the main needs, the subdelegate highlighted that employment is one of the top priorities.
“The sources of work—since we began—our goal has been for people to find ways to have jobs within the community itself, to encourage employment using the resources available locally,” she said.
“First of all, here in Conquista we have the beach, Punta Marqués. It is truly beautiful. Everyone who visits and sees this area is fascinated by the view, the landscape, everything we have here in Conquista Agraria,” she said.
“Here in Reforma Dos, they are currently harvesting strawberries. We want to create a project that is touristic, where people can come and pick their vegetables directly here in Reforma Dos. It’s very beautiful,” she mentioned.
